These are Google Maps driving estimates for a weekday, at 11 AM (off-peak) and 6:30 PM (evening rush). Real times change with traffic, rain and roadworks, so add a buffer on the day of surgery.

East Pune: Kharadi, Kalyani Nagar, Koregaon Park, Wagholi, Yerwada, Lohegaon, Dhanori
East Pune is our neighbourhood. From Kalyani Nagar, Yerwada, Lohegaon, Dhanori and Chandan Nagar, the clinic is under 20 minutes away even at rush hour. From Kharadi it is under 30 minutes. Short trips make follow-up dressings and check-ups easy to fit around work. Wagholi is the exception: evening traffic can add 10 minutes or more, so a morning appointment is the easier choice.
Best for: fitting follow-ups into a lunch break, and anyone who wants to stay close to the surgeon in the first week after surgery.
South and Central Pune: Hadapsar, Magarpatta, Camp, Wanwadi, Kondhwa, NIBM, Kothrud, Deccan, Shivajinagar
From Hadapsar and Magarpatta the journey is about 35 to 40 minutes, and evening traffic changes it very little. Kondhwa, NIBM Road and Kothrud are closer to an hour. If you live in these areas, we suggest an online or phone consultation first, then grouping your pre-surgery tests and in-person examination into a single visit.
West Pune and the IT belt: Baner, Aundh, Pashan, Balewadi, Wakad, Hinjewadi
If you live or work in the Hinjewadi and Baner IT corridor, the drive is the longest in the city: about 50 minutes from Aundh and up to 75 to 85 minutes from Hinjewadi in evening traffic. Two things help:
– We are open 7 days a week, 8 AM to 8 PM. A Saturday or Sunday appointment means no leave from work and lighter traffic.
– The first consultation can be online or by phone, so your first trip is the one that really needs you in person.
For surgery day, plan to be driven by someone else. Consider staying with family closer to East Pune for the first night or two if your treatment calls for an early follow-up.
Pimpri-Chinchwad (PCMC): Pimpri, Chinchwad, Nigdi, Moshi, Ravet
From central PCMC the clinic is about 50 minutes away. From Nigdi and Ravet it is just over an hour. If you prefer public transport for consultations, the Pune Metro can take you to Ramwadi station, a short cab ride from the clinic. After surgery, always travel home by car, not metro.
Start with an online or phone consultation, wherever you live
Dr. Sheetal Londhe offers online and phone consultations. Call the clinic on 077690 07781 to book one. An online or phone consultation is a good first step if you:
- live in West Pune, PCMC or outside Pune
- want to understand your options and the likely plan before taking time off work
- feel more comfortable discussing a personal concern from home first
What an online or phone consultation can do: discuss your concerns and medical history, explain which procedure may suit you, describe the recovery and time off you would need, and give you a general idea of cost.
What it cannot do: replace an in-person examination. Before any surgery, Dr. Sheetal Londhe must examine you in person, take measurements and confirm the plan. No surgery is booked on the basis of an online or phone consultation alone.
How many visits does each treatment need?
Knowing roughly how many trips to expect helps you plan leave, childcare and transport. Every treatment follows the same basic pattern:
- Consultation: can start online or by phone.
- In-person examination and pre-surgery checks: usually combined into one visit.
- Surgery day: at the clinic in Viman Nagar, followed by a short stay depending on the procedure.
- Follow-ups: a few scheduled check-ups in the first weeks, then occasional reviews as you heal.
All surgery takes place at the clinic, so every visit is to the same address.
| Treatment | Usual stay after surgery |
|---|---|
| 360° VASER Liposuction | Same day or a short overnight stay |
| Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) | A short overnight stay |
| Breast Augmentation | Same day or a short overnight stay |
| Breast Reduction | Usually a short overnight stay |
| Breast Lift (Mastopexy) | Same day or a short overnight stay |
| Vaginoplasty | Usually the same day |
| Mommy Makeover | A short overnight stay, sometimes longer |
Your surgeon will give you your exact plan at consultation.
To keep trips to a minimum:
– Do the first consultation online or by phone.
– Ask for your blood tests and pre-surgery checks to be scheduled on the same day as your in-person examination.
– Book follow-ups at off-peak times (late morning or weekends) if you live far away.
– Some later check-ups may be possible online or by phone. Ask your surgeon.
Travelling home after surgery
The journey home on the day of discharge needs a little planning, especially if it is 45 minutes or longer.
For every treatment:
– Never drive yourself home. Arrange a family member, friend or cab, with an adult to stay with you the first night.
– Avoid two-wheelers and autos for the first few weeks. Bumps and jolts are painful, and you cannot brace safely.
– On long drives, stop roughly every hour to walk for a few minutes. This helps prevent blood clots.
– Avoid travelling in the evening rush where you can. A late-morning discharge on the West Pune and PCMC routes saves 10 to 15 minutes of stop-start traffic.
– Keep your medicines, water and the clinic’s phone number in the car.
Treatment-specific tips:
| Treatment | Travel comfort tip |
|---|---|
| VASER Liposuction | Wear your compression garment for the journey. Expect fluid leakage in the first day or two and sit on a towel. |
| Tummy Tuck | Recline the seat slightly so you are not stretching the abdomen. Place a small pillow between your stomach and the seatbelt. |
| Breast Augmentation, Lift or Reduction | Hold a small pillow between your chest and the seatbelt. Wear your surgical bra. |
| Vaginoplasty | Sitting may be uncomfortable. A soft ring cushion helps on longer drives. |
| Mommy Makeover | Combine the tummy tuck and breast tips: reclined seat, pillow under the seatbelt. If you live far away, consider staying nearby for the first night. |
Call the clinic straight away if, during or after the journey, you notice rapidly increasing swelling on one side, heavy bleeding, fever, chest pain, breathlessness, or a painful, swollen calf.
Coming from outside Pune?
Viman Nagar is one of the easiest places in Pune to reach from out of town. The airport is about 5 minutes away, and Pune Railway Station is about 25 minutes away. Hotels around Viman Nagar, Kalyani Nagar and Kharadi put you within 10 to 25 minutes of the clinic.
If you are travelling from another city:
1. Start with an online or phone consultation so you arrive with a clear plan.
2. Plan to stay in Pune for the first several days after surgery, until your first follow-up is done. Your surgeon will tell you how long for your procedure.
3. Ask whether later follow-ups can be done online or by phone once you are home.
4. Check with your surgeon before flying. Many patients can take a short flight about a week after surgery, but this depends on the procedure.
Frequently asked questions
Do you see patients from Hinjewadi, Wakad and Baner?
Yes. The drive from the West Pune IT corridor is about 50 to 85 minutes depending on traffic, so we recommend an online or phone consultation first and weekend or late-morning appointments for in-person visits.
Do you see patients from Pimpri-Chinchwad?
Yes. From PCMC the clinic is about 50 to 75 minutes away by car, depending on your area. Consultations can begin online or by phone. In-person visits are needed for examination, surgery and early follow-ups.
Is there a plastic surgeon near Pune Airport?
Yes. ZeroSize® Grace Aesthetics in Viman Nagar is about 1.5 km, or 5 minutes, from Pune Airport. This is convenient for patients flying in from other cities.
Can I have my first consultation online?
Yes. Dr. Sheetal Londhe offers online and phone consultations. Call the clinic to book one. An in-person examination is still needed before any surgery.
Is the surgery done in a hospital or at the clinic?
At the clinic. ZeroSize® performs surgery at its own facility in Viman Nagar, so your consultation, surgery and follow-ups all take place at the same address.
How can I check my surgeon’s qualifications?
Dr. Sheetal Londhe is registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council (2005/04/2532) and is a member of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSI ID 1733). She holds a DNB in Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Her registration is shown as verified on Practo.
Is the clinic open on weekends?
Yes. The clinic is open every day, including Saturday and Sunday, from 8 AM to 8 PM. This helps working patients and anyone travelling from far away.
Is there parking at the clinic?
Yes. There is paid parking at the Town Square complex and street parking nearby. The clinic has wheelchair-accessible parking and entry.
Can I travel home alone after surgery?
No. You should be driven home by someone else, and an adult should stay with you for the first night. You cannot drive until your surgeon says it is safe, usually 1 to 2 weeks or longer depending on the procedure.
I live far from Viman Nagar. Is it safe to have surgery so far from home?
Yes, with planning. Most follow-ups are scheduled visits, not emergencies. Keep the clinic’s number handy, learn the warning signs listed above, and if you live more than an hour away, consider staying closer for the first night or two after bigger procedures such as a tummy tuck or mommy makeover.
